The 2007 Kurrajong Scarecrow Festival was held on 27th - 28th October in the Hawkesbury area of NSW, Australia. On Saturday 27th, scarecrows were dotted around the district in front gardens and a musical talent quest was held in Memorial Park, Kurrajong. Then on Sunday 28th October, crowds gathered in Memorial Park to see scarecrow displays and stalls, and enjoy music and dance performances

A spectacular dinosaur scarecrow, 'Tyranno-straw-us Rex', delighted the crowds at the 2007 Kurrajong Scarecrow Festival. This scarecrow by the McKeown-Todd family took out the Margaret Garcia Trophy for the Overall Winner of the Festival and first place in the People's Choice competition.

The main Kurrajong Scarecrow Festival day on the Sunday featured a packed program of performances by local schools and dance groups, along with the Spectacle of Scarecrows, market stalls, a blacksmith display, a reptile show, children's activities and much more!
